When this is the right moment
It often begins after a cold. Your child tugs at an ear, turns away from the pillow, and is fussy in the evening when everything feels louder. They may feel warm and stuffy, with little appetite. You have been here before, and you know how fast an ear can take over the whole house. This formula is for that early, uncomfortable stretch, when you are looking for something gentle to reach for.
How it is used
Keep it on hand and reach for it when the ear first complains. When the discomfort passes, stop. It is not a daily formula.
When it is not the right moment
Ear pain with fever, discharge, hearing change, or persistent symptoms needs examination. The name does not establish an ear-infection treatment.
Cautions
Contains licorice, which may not be suitable for a child with a heart condition.
